State Ministry of Samurdhi, Home Economics, Micro finance, Self-Employment and Business Development launching the 'Saubhagya-Samurdhi Week' announced by the passengers from 1st July to 07th July 2021 in Homagama Divisional Secretariat.Providing National Home Garden Program to Improve Home Economic Nutrition and Empower Family Units 2020 - 2021 One Month Laying Chicks to Samurdhi Beneficiaries and Eleven Low Income Layers under Maha Season and Awareness on Domestic Poultry Management Today (2021.07.01) Held at the Divisional Secretariat.
On this day one hundred and ten (110) chicks were distributed to eleven (11) Samurdhi beneficiaries and low income earners.Then one beneficiary obtiained 10 chicks. The financial value of this is forty four thousand rupees (Rs. 44,000 / =).
P.K Gamage, Veterinary Officer, Homagama conducted an awareness program on domestic poultry management. Animal Development Consultant at the Homagama Veterinary Office J.K.T.I Mr. Jayamanne also joined the occasion.
Homagama Divisional Secretary B.A.D. The chicks were distributed under the patronage of Mr. Chinthaka and Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. Wathsala Ranasinghearachchi, Accountant Mr. Dilum Madurangana and Mr. Samurdhi Project Manager Mr. Piyananda Saman Kumara.
This program was coordinated by Samurdhi Community Based Banking Project Assistant Mrs. Renuka Jayasuriya under the supervision of Headquarters Samurdhi Manager Mrs. Priyanthi Gunawardena and Samurdhi Project Manager Mr. Piyananda Saman Kumara under the guidance and guidance of Mr. B.A.D Chinthaka, Divisional Secretary, Homagama.
