Inauguration of Organic Fertilizer Unit in every Grama Niladhari Division through the program of empowering two lakhs of prosperous families, awareness and practical training program of the first organic fertilizer production of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat of the Meegoda Samurdhi Zone, Wataraka South Grama Niladari was done on morning of 2021.07.16 .
Under the leadership of Homagama Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr.B.S Kekulawala.
Organic fertilizer production awareness and practical training program was conducted by Homagama Agriculture Consultant by Mr. H.A.I Gunasena.
Meegoda Prosperity Manager A.R. Mr.Rupasinghe, Project Manager Mr.Piyananda Sman Kumara, Mrs. Project Shathara Renuka Jayasuriya, Property Officers of Meegoda Samurdhi Zone and Chairman of Samurdhi Community Core Organizations of Grama Niladari Divisions 18, Meegoda Smaurdhi Zone attended the event as per the advice of Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D Chinthaka, Under the supervision of the Manager of Samurdhi Mr. A.R. Rupasinghe. The program was coordinated by Mr.Thusira Indika Karunaratne, The Prosperity Development officer of Wataraka South.
