An awareness program was held on 10.11.2022 for the parents of the students of W.M Perera Junior College, Kahathuduwa, on 10.11.2022, to raise awareness about the responsibilities of parents regarding the safety of children and the importance of sending children to school despite the current economic crisis.

A women's union members’ empowerment program was held on 08-11-2022 at the premises of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat.
