Conversation with the Village - One Lakh Work Out of the Budget One Hundred and Eighty-two (182) livelihood development and infrastructure development projects representing 81 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat divisions were ceremoniously launched on 03rd February 2022 in line with the Rural Development Government Program. Literary Arts Festival of Homagama Divisional Secretariat was held on 30.11.2021 at the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat, Homagama ,under the patronage of Ven. Madowita Vajira Buddhi Thero, Deputy Chairman of the Colombo District Sasanarakshaka Balamandala, Hon. Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, Hon. Minister of Commerce, Mr. Sampath Jayasinghe, and Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne District Secretary Colombo.

According to the concept of Colombo District Secretary Mr. Pradeep Yasarathna, who won the “VOICE OF COLOMBO” reality song competition held for the officers working in thirteen regional secretariat Mrs. Sujani Madushika Hettiarachchi of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat and the twelve in the final round recognition and appreciation of Mr. Nilanka Navod Siriwardhana was held at the Divisional Secretariat auditorium on 31 st January under the leadership of Mr. Pradeep Yasarathna.

The event was organized under the guidance and direction of Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D Chinthaka and Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. B.S Kekulawala with the participation of staff from all sections of the office.

 Samurdhi Fm Vappura Pasaloswaka (20) Poda Sadaham Charikawa A series of all religious programs from the Sri Saman Mal Viharaya in Kahathuduwa, Homagama to the Athasil celebrations in the morning to the Bodhi Pooja Pinkama in the evening including Dharmadeshana were telecast live.
