A merit-based drug prevention program for the students of Mullegama Sri Sucharithodaya Dhamma School under Homagama Divisional Secretariat was held last Sunday 31st with the contribution of Miss Sampath Priyadarshini Ratnayake of the Prevention Education and Training Division of the National Board of Dangerous Drugs.
The teachers of the Dhamma school faculty also participated in this program under the guidance of Reverend Athurugiriya Wimalawamsa Theropa, the head of Sri Sucharithodaya Dhamma School and Vihara Adhikari Reverend Mahinda Wansa Theropa of Mullegama Sugatha Nandarama Temple.
This program was organized by Ms. Rashi Prabha Welgedara, Drug Prevention Assistant in the Drug Prevention Division of the Divisional Secretary's Office on the advice of the Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka.
