In celebration of the World Children and Elderly Day, Samantha Arambegama, Counseling Officer of the Divisional Secretariat, conducted an awareness for the children of Pitipana City Samurdhi Kekulu Children's Club about values, treatment of elders, virtues and how to use the Internet properly.
After the awareness, lunch was served for the children and adults and savings cubes were also given to the children.
Pitipana City village officer, development officer and field staff, officers of the Elderly Association and members of the Community Root Organization participated in this event.
This program was organized under the leadership of Mrs. Thushari Kumuduni, Pitipana City Prosperity Development Officer.
