On the first day of October, the Vassana Dharma lecture was held on the theme of World Children's and Elderly Day, at Kitulahena Sri Jayasumanarama temple on October 1st.
Under the leadership of Kitulahena Samurdhi Prajamula organization, the cleaning of the temple was done with the participation of the member priests, and after the Bodhi Puja, the Dharmacharya of Maharagama Sri Vajirajnana Dharmayatana, Royal Scholar Abhidharmacharya Pujyapada Sonda Thero, gave a sumadura Dharma lecture.
On the invitation of Kitulahena Samurdhi Development Officer Mr. Nishantha Paranamanna and the President of Prajamula Organization Mrs. Sujeewa Dhammika, Village Officer in Charge of Vasam, Development Officer and local residents participated in the sermon.
