On the occasion of World Elderly Day, distribution of spectacles to twenty-three (23) elders in Kiriwatthuduwa North village officer's area of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was done on October 19th (19th) at Kiriwatthuduwa Sri Subodharama Viharaya by the gift of the vihara dean Pujya Kiriibbanare Ariya Vineeta Thera.
Arrangements were made to get spectacles from the funds earned from the flag program held in conjunction with the International Anti-Tobacco Day in 2019.
Mrs. T. G. Sriani, Manager of Samurdhi Community Community Bank Society, Mrs. P. Sanjeevani Vevelwala, Manager of Mattegoda Samurdhi Community Community Bank, Social Development Assistant Officers Ms. Kanthika Hulathduwa and Mrs. Chamila Jayatunga, Samurdhi Development Officer, Village Officer, Development Officer, Family Health Service Officer and Samurdhi Praja Moola Organisation's Board of Officers participated in this event.
