Reorganization of women's work organization in Diyagama East Village Officer Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was carried out on 16.12.2022 at the service square of that division.
There the community was made aware of the importance of a women's union as well as the role of a woman.
Along with this program, a textile production training program with market demand was held with the aim of reducing the current economic difficulties for women, with the aim of introducing alternative sources of income.
Organized by the Economic Development Officer of the division, the coordination of this program was carried out by the Vanita Development Officer and the Vanita Development Field Assistant.
