The first street play of the "Lama Raga Madala" theater group, which was started with the aim of honing the artistic skills of children and developing their abilities, was performed on 28-12-2022 at Homagama Satipola premises.
This theater group consisting of 12 children with talent in drama and performing arts from Homagama regional secretariat presented their talents by adding a better message to the society through this production.
Accountants from the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, field officials and many members of the public gathered for the opportunity to watch this play, which was shown targeting the public coming to the Satipola grounds.
Cultural Officer (W.P) Thisaru Kottage conducted the training for this play and Mr. Prabhat Devapriya, Office Rural Development Officer, arranged for the sponsorship of Mullegama South Rural Development Society for this.
The program was jointly organized by the Children's Theater Drama Squad and Homagama Divisional Secretariat Cultural Section.
