The girls’ empowerment training program conducted for the students of Kiriwatthuduwa Wijewardena High School of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held on 26-07-2023 at the college premises.
Along with this program, a series of programs on counseling, drug prevention and child protection were also organized for boys in the college.
The GOL institute sponsored the girl child empowerment program and Mr. Terence Athukorala, the office counseling officer for counseling and drug prevention programs, and Ms. Nadisha Raniarach, the drug prevention counseling officer, and Ms. Gishani Umega, the child rights promotion officer, also provided resourcefulness on child protection.
Organized by Office Child Responsibility Promotion Officers, organizational support for this program was provided by the Development Officer of the Division.
