The cake production training course of 100 hours of training organized by the provincial sanitation unit and the sanitation section of the Homagama divisional secretariat with the aim of introducing alternative income generation methods for the women of the division, the certificate awarding and cake design exhibition on 16.10.2023 at the Janaka Weliwatta community hall.
47 women beneficiaries including Western Province Deputy Director (Planning), Western Province District Women's Development Officer, Course Counselor Mrs. Manori and officers of the Women's Power Board participated in this event which was presided over by the Regional Secretary.
Awarding and evaluation of certificates to all those who successfully completed this course was done under the leadership of the Divisional Secretary.
