Aiming to develop the aesthetic skills of children, the aesthetic skills development program was conducted on 08-12-2023 at the main hall of Watara National School on 2023-12-08.
Based on the ancillary elements related to drama, practical training in music, dance, voice training and singing related to drama was given to the children.
More than 100 children representing grades 9 and 10 of the college participated in this and it was a great opportunity for the children to recognize the talents of many children and to study and enter the theater field.
Representing the Homagama Regional Cultural Authority, veteran artists Mrs. Shyamali Livera, Mrs. Mahinda Loku Yaddehige, Mrs. Vijitha Anupriya, Mrs. Sandhya Sepali, Mrs. Disna Sanjeevani, Mrs. Nirmala Kumari provided resourcefulness for this program.
Organized by the Cultural Section of the Divisional Secretariat, cultural officers Mrs. Nalini Swarnalatha and Thisaru Kottage Eya, members of the Cultural Council, artists, Deputy Principal and head teachers participated in this program.
