The new four-storied building of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat was opened on the twenty first (21) by the presence of the Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs and Local Government, the Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena.
Homagama Divisional Coordinating Committee Honorary Chairman, Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media Bandula Gunawardena, District Coordinating Committee Co-Chairman Member of Parliament Mr. Pradeep Udugoda, Member of Parliament Mr. Yadamini Gunawardena, Secretary of Public Administration, Provincial Council Local Government Ministries Pradeep Yasaratne, Registrar General S.S. Wijesinghe, Colombo District Secretary / District Governor Ginige Prasanna Janaka Kumara, Divisional Secretaries of Divisional Secretariat Offices belonging to Colombo District, Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka , Office staff and office officials led by Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. Chamal D. Thenuwara, village officials, Samurdhi officials, development officials, field officials and the community also joined the ceremony.
