In the series of programs conducted based on drug-prone areas, another community-based drug prevention program was held in Meegoda, Hettiyawatte Division recently.
This program was conducted specifically targeting children, and activities were organized to involve children in this program with practical activities and provide them with the necessary guidance for drug prevention and to understand the beneficial effects it has on health, society and human existence in general.
This program, which was conducted with the support and contribution of Community Development Officers of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, was organized and coordinated by External Services and Counselling Officer (Drugs) Mrs. Nadeeshani Peli Arachchi and Drug Prevention Development Officer Mrs. Hansika Mediwaka.
