The "Senior Citizens' Bakmaha Festival", jointly organized by the Social Services Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat and the Homagama Elders' Council, was held with great pomp at the "Perumbuli" Hall, Galawilawatta North, recently.
The inauguration was held under the patronage of Homagama Divisional Secretary B.A.D. Chinthaka and Assistant Divisional Secretary Chamal D.Thenuwara.
The festival was enhanced by various folk games and colourful dances featuring the artistic talents of the Senior Citizens, and many Senior Citizens and office officials representing the senior citizen organizations of the division participated in this event.
This program was coordinated and organized by the Social Services Division and the Elders' Council.
