As per the instructions of the Samurdhi Community Based Banking Society Manager, a dual awareness program on how to minimize electricity consumption and on identifying harmful and beneficial plastics and polythene and managing them in a non-harmful manner, conducted with the participation of the Community Based Subject Development Officer and the chairmen of community based organizations, was held at the Samurdhi Bank Association Headquarters in Homagama recently.
The resource person for this was Mrs. Malika Peramunaarachchi, Science and Technology Officer of the Vidatha Resource Center.
At this, Vidatha Field Coordinator Mr. Chaminda Samaramanne informed about the self-employment training opportunities available through the Vidatha Resource Center.
This program was organized by the Vidatha Division under the supervision of the Divisional Secretary.
