A special program to educate students about choosing 9th grade subjects according to their abilities and interests was held at the Homagama Central College premises on 2025.07.08.
This program, which was organized with the aim of educating them about how to choose subjects according to their abilities and interests when choosing subjects for the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination and how those subjects relate to the future world of work, was attended by about 285 students studying in grade 9 of Homagama Central College as beneficiaries.
The resource for this was provided by Mrs. Thushari Anuruddhika, Career Guidance Officer of the Department of Manpower and Employment, and this program was organized by the Human Resource Development Officers of the office under the guidance and supervision of the Divisional Secretary.
