Under the decentralization of the President’s Fund to the regional level, the medical assistance payment process was initiated with effect from 07.02.2025. In this process, the Homagama Divisional Secretariat became the Divisional Secretariat Office that made payments to the highest number of beneficiaries in the country. Accordingly, the cheque entitled to the 75th beneficiary of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was presented on 01.01.2026 by the Divisional Secretary, Mr. B. A. D. Chinthaka.
