Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

The Samurdhi Community Foundation Organization of the Katuwana Grama Niladhari Division, Homagama, offered morning and afternoon alms to the devotees who observed the precepts at the Katuwana Pingbima Hall on the 10th of July, Esala Poya.

On the occasion of Esala Poya, a Buddhist devotional song concert presented by the Detu Puravi Sangama of the Ghenuwala Grama Niladhari Division was held in Meegoda on the day of Esala Poya.

A Shramadana was held on 10.7.2025 to clean both sides of the 27th pillar road in the Godagama North Grama Niladhari Division in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka program.

With the aim of providing happiness, entertainment and affection to a group living in isolation in the society, the Homagama Regional Cultural Authority and the Office Cultural Division organized a Peduru Sajjaya at the "Senehasa" Elder's Home in Galwalamulla, Panaluwa, with the aim of providing happiness, entertainment and affection to a group living in isolation in the society.

In line with the government's program to establish and reorganize youth clubs at the Grama Niladhari Division level across the island in conjunction with the National Youth Day, the establishment of the Youth Club in the Kahathuduwa West Grama Niladhari Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat was carried out on 2025.07.08 at the Kahathuduwa Samagi Seva Piyasa.
