The All-Night Pirithran Dhamma Discourse and Maha Sangha Dakshina on the subject of Thirty-Five Names, held to mark the completion of one year of the new four-storey building of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, was successfully held on 18th and 19th July 2025 at the new building premises of the Divisional Secretariat, with the preface of the Pinsith.

A training workshop for Field Samurdhi Development Officers to develop the business skills of the beneficiaries selected for empowerment under the Aswesuma Program in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division and empower them was held on the fifteenth (15) at the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the Assistant Divisional Secretary, Homagama, Chamal D. Thenuwara.

The 150-hour Tamil language course for public officials, organized with the aim of providing proficiency in the Tamil language for government officials in accordance with the official language policy, began online on 2025.07.15.

With the aim of controlling the spread of dengue and chikungunya diseases that are spreading rapidly these days, a mosquito breeding site inspection and awareness program was conducted in Mattegoda East Grama Niladhari Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division on 14.07.2025.
