Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

Organized by the Samurdhi Social Development Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat and coordinated by the Homagama Divisional and Zonal Education Office, the "Scholarship Practice Seminar" was held on 2025.08.01 at the Diyagama Junior College Hall for students appearing for the 2025 Fifth Grade Scholarship Examination.

A one-day training workshop organized to educate 130 economic development officers and field development officers engaged in divisional duties of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat on project planning and management, office management and new procurement guidelines was successfully held on 2025.08.01 at the main auditorium of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat.

With the aim of improving the health status of the elderly community, educating them about a healthy diet and instilling a proper diet, an Ayurveda clinic was held for the elderly citizens of the Mattegoda Thusitha Elderly Home on 31/07/2025 under the patronage of Ayurveda Doctor D.M.W.K. Randenigama.

The Regional Coordination Committee Meeting organized by the Planning Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat with the objective of reviewing the development issues and progress of the Homagama Division was held on 2025.07.31 at 9.30 am at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Auditorium.
