Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

A program on dental health and early childhood development for preschool children and parents was held at Nikini Preschool, Pitipana on 13.08.2025.

At this event, Mr. Gayan Madhuranga, representing Link Natural Institute, and Ms. Chamari Lakmali, the Early Childhood Development Officer of the office, provided awareness on early childhood development.

75 beneficiaries participated in this program, and under the guidance and supervision of the Divisional Secretary, Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka, and under the coordination of the Early Childhood Development Officer of the office, this program was implemented by the teachers of Nikini Preschool.

The Regional Coordination Committee Meeting organized by the Planning Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat with the objective of reviewing the development issues and progress of the Homagama Division was held on 2025.08.29 at 9.30 am at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Auditorium.

A dental health program for children of children's clubs "Shining Flowers" and "Sangharama".

Another program launched in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka program to strengthen its attitude development foundation was successfully held on 17/08/2025 at the Henpita Seva Piyasa premises in the evening

A program was held on 2025.08.12 at the Diyagama East Grama Niladhari Office to educate parents on how to interact with children and to provide entertainment to children.
