An Ayurvedic medical clinic was held at the Henawatta Komipayahena Meditation Center on 26/09/2025 for the Elderly Week, which coincides with the International Elderly Day. Members of the Henawatta Dighasiri Senior Citizens Organization and residents of the area participated in this program, which was held with the aim of identifying and providing treatment to the health problems of the elderly community in the area.

This program was organized by the Elderly Development Officer, Mrs. M.D.D. Nayomi, and the Local Medical Development Officer, N.S. Punchhewa, with the resources of Ayurvedic Doctor Anoja Herath, Ayurvedic Doctor Mala Liyanage and local medical students, under the advice and guidance of the Divisional Secretary.

A field investigation was conducted on 2025.10.03 with the participation of the Hon. Minister of Environment, Dhammika Patabedi, regarding the issues arising in several environmentally important areas belonging to the Grama Niladhari Divisions of 446/A Attygalle Khatahira and 482/E Meegasmulla. For this, the Chairman of the Homagama Regional Coordination Committee, Hon. Aruna Panagoda, the Chairman of the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha, Hon. Kasun Ratnayake, the Vice Chairman, Anura Bamunu Arachchi, the members of the Pradeshiya Sabha, the Deputy Director of Planning of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, Mrs. Nilanka Sampath, as well as many government officials, representatives of farmer organizations and representatives of environmental organizations participated.

A 'Leadership Training Camp' was held on 22/08/2025 at the Somaloka Temple in Jayaliyagama with the aim of developing the leadership and personality of the children of the "Ekamuthu" Children's Club in Rilawala Division.

In this program, which was attended by 64 children, many activities were carried out for the leadership and personality development of the children.The program was conducted by the Child Rights Promotion Officer of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, K. Prathapage, Counseling Officer Terence Athukorala and Youth Services Officer Thanuja Dissanayake, providing resources.

This program, which was conducted targeting G.C.E. (Advanced Level) students of the college, was facilitated by the Department of Manpower and Employment, Career Guidance Officer Ananda Wijekoon.

The Great Kite Competition and Festival, organized with the aim of making the leisure of school children meaningful and enjoyable, was held on 31.08.2025 at the Kompaya Hena Welya, Godagama.

A large number of kite designs under various categories were made by the children of the Rathana Sara Dhamma School in Godagama and certificates were given to the winners.

A large number of residents of Godagama and the surrounding areas participated in the kite festival and the main patronage for all these activities was given by the Chief Incumbent of the Godagama Purana Viharaya, Venerable Kotigala Nanda Rathana Thero.

All these activities were organized by the Development Officer of Godagama North Grama Niladhari Division, Mr. Wijayantha Laksiri, with the support of the Cultural Officer, Mrs. Nalini Swarnalatha, on the instructions of the Homagama Divisional Secretary, Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka. The judges and resource contributions were provided by the Development Officer of Kitula Hena Grama Niladhari Division, Mr. Wasantha Lal, and the Development Officer of Kahathudu North Grama Niladhari Division, Mr. Nimal Bandara.
