The pre-school art competition, which was held in conjunction with the World Environment Week, was held on June 03, 2025 in 30 pre-schools in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division.

Following the invitation of nominations for the appointment of new members to the Homagama Mediation Board by the Ministry of Justice and the Mediation Board Commission, the presentation of appointment letters and awareness program for the selected members was held at the Divisional Secretariat premises recently.

The third program of the project to repair shoes and school bags of school children, utilizing the labor and skills of the Community Corrections Order Holders of the Homagama Court, was held on 2025/06/18 at Pitipana Mawathgama College,Homagama.

The Poson Devotional Song Concert organized with the participation of the Special Needs Community residing in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat premises recently.

In conjunction with the 2025 World Environment Day celebration program, a Kumbuk tree planting program was recently conducted around the Mattegoda Maha Wewa and its surrounding areas in Mattegoda West Grama Niladhari Division, Homagama with the aim of protecting the Mattegoda Maha Wewa and its surrounding areas.
