Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

An awareness program about drug prevention for the community of Homagama South village officer domain in Homagama South village with the participation of P.A.N.Padmasiri, Development Officer, Gishani Umega, Drug Prevention Assistant, Dinesh Priyasad, Drug Prevention Division Counselor (External Services) of the Divisional Secretariat was carried out.

An awareness program about drug prevention for the community of Sangharama and Siddamulla Village Officer Areas was organized in Sangharama village with the participation of P.A.N.Padmasiri, Development Officer, Gishani Umega, Drug Prevention Assistant, Dinesh Priyasad, Drug Prevention Division Counselor (External Services) of the Divisional Secretariat was carried out.

In celebration of the World Elderly Day, almsgiving was given to the elderly in Meegasmulla village officer domain of Homagama Division on World Elderly Day at Meegasmulla Grama Niladhari’s office.

The short story book "Dream Palace" written by the daughter of Dinushi Udara Malwatta, who is a 9th grade student of Mawatgama Junior College, resident of Mawatgama Grama Niladhari Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division, and "Dreams Not Imprisoned" song book presented to District Secretary / District Governor Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka and Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. B.S. Kekulawala was made on the fourth of October (4) at the Divisional Secretariat.

In celebration of the World Children and Elderly Day, distribution of school shoes vouchers to fifteen (15) children of Panagoda Town Village Officer's Domain in Homagama Division was conducted on October 3rd (3) at Panagoda Town Community Hall.
