Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

The blood donation program conducted by the development officers of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat for the sixth time was conducted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Secretary Mr. B. A. D. Chinthaka on the third day of October (03) at the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat.

The tug-of-war competition of the District Sports Tournament, which was organized according to the idea of Colombo District Secretary / District Governor Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, was held on the first day at Homagama Meegoda Maha Vidyalaya Sports Ground.

In celebration of the World Children and Elderly Day, Samantha Arambegama, Counseling Officer of the Divisional Secretariat, conducted an awareness for the children of Pitipana City Samurdhi Kekulu Children's Club about values, treatment of elders, virtues and how to use the Internet properly.

The Homagama team won the men's championship in the recently held cricket tournament of the District Sports Tournament which was organized according to the concept of Colombo District Secretary / District Governor Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne.

On the occasion of World Children's Day 2022, an art competition for the members of Galawilawatta North Samurdhi Kekulu Children's Club was held at Galawilawatta North Sunil Perumbuli Community Hall on the first day of October.
