Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

A charity program was held on 09/08/2022 for the children studying at Homagama Polgasovita 'Sudaru' special needs school.

Giving shoe vouchers to nineteen (19) school-going children from low-income families with the money earned from the anti-smoking flag sale program held in 2019 under the initiative of Ms. Sarojani Alvis, the former prosperity development officer of Homagama Galawilawatta North Grama Niladhari Domain and an awareness program was held on 09.09.2022 at Sunil Perumbuli Hall, Galawiwatta North, on how to prepare the family's economic plan in the face of the current economic disaster.

A training workshop on food dehydration for the women of Uduwana Gram Niladhari domain of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held on September 6th with the contribution of Vidatha Technology Officer Mrs. Malika Peramunaarachchi and Vidatha Field Coordinator Officer Mr. Mahesh Mudali at Uduwana village.

A 'soap' production training program was held at the Divisional Secretariat Auditorium on 07.09.2022 with the aim of directing women to self-employment opportunities in Homagama Divisional Secretariat.

An awareness program about household management and waste management through productivity concepts was held at Diyagama Sri Salavanodyanarama Viharastha Dharma Hall for the members of Diyagama Grama Niladhari Domain of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division.
