Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

An awareness program for skill-based drug prevention for the 10th grade students of Homagama President Vidyalaya School under Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was conducted on September 6 with the contribution of Mr. Supun Udana from the Prevention Education and Training Division of the National Board of Dangerous Drugs.

Panagoda Parakrama National School, which belongs to Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division, conducted an awareness program about skill-based drug prevention for students of grades 12 and 13 with the contribution of Mr. Supun Udana, Prevention Education and Training Division of the National Board of Dangerous Drugs.

For the Early Childhood Development Week, providing school equipment to twelve (12) children who will enter the first year of the year 2023 from families with economic difficulties in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division on September 5th (5) with the grant of the Divisional Secretary Mr. B. A craft training workshop for low-income women in Panagoda City and Panagoda West Domain of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held on September 4 in Panagoda City Domain.

The distribution of raw material kits with pahanthira production machine was done on the third (3) in Kadanawatta village to the women who expressed their desire after the training provided for the production ofpahanthira as self-employment among the women's society members of Kadanawatta area of Homagama divisional secretariat division.
