Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

Homagama area under the National Housing Development Authority for families without a permanent home, which is operated by the government’s plan to achieve a comfortable home for every family by creating a productive citizen and a happy living family. Prosperity Residing in Kahathuduwa South Grama Niladari Division No.240, Saranathissa Mawatha, Kahathuduwa, Secretariat. A handing over the house built to Mrs.Gunavathi’s family was done on July 2021 17 under the leadership of Minister Commence Cabinet, Honorable Chairman of Regional Coordination Committee, Dr. Bandula Gunawardna.

Awareness and practical training program on organic fertilizer production of Homagama Divisional Secretariat under the program to start an organic fertilizer unit in every Grama Niladari division through the empowerment of two lakhs of prosperous families in Homagama Samurdhi Zone at Homagama South Grama Niladari Division was done on afternoon of 2021.07.16.

Mrs. Wathsala Ranasinghearachchi, a Grade 2 Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service who served as the Assistant Divisional Secretary of Homagama ,resigned from the post on 13-07-2021.

Inauguration of Organic Fertilizer Unit in every Grama Niladhari Division through the program of empowering two lakhs of prosperous families, awareness and practical training program of the first organic fertilizer production of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat of the Meegoda Samurdhi Zone, Wataraka South Grama Niladari was done on morning of 2021.07.16 .
