Divisional Secretariat - Homagama

"Aruna Dakina Rata" Art Workshop and Appreciation Program was held on the 22nd at the Auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of Mr. B.S Kekulawala with the objective of developing the creative skills of the pre-school children of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat.

A Merit Drug Prevention Awareness Program for Grade 9 Students of Panagoda Parakrama National School, Homagama Divisional Secretariat was conducted on the 22nd under the auspices of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board National Drug Studies and Contributed by Resources Assistant Mr. Supun Udana.

Awareness on the program of Homagama Division under the 'Aharin Sapiri Kolomthotak' program implemented according to a concept of the Colombo District Secretary / Government Agent Pradeep Yasaratne with a view to overcoming the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka in the face of food crisis. The program Awareness and Progress Review Meeting was held on 21st June under the patronage of the District Secretary at the Auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat.

Drivers, conductors and staff of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) in Homagama held an awareness program and discussion on the current status, impact and treatment of the drug problem on 21st June at the Homagama Depot to coincide with the International Anti-Drug Day. 26.

Two Senior Citizens 'Organizations in the Katuwana and Watareka South Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division organized two' Poson Bathi Gee 'programs by passengers of the two senior citizens' organizations celebrating the Poson festival.

Poson devotional programs will be held at the Katuwana Pingbima Hall in the Katuwana Grama Niladhari Division and at the Indrarama Temple in the Watareka South Division.

The monks of the Indrarama Temple, the officials of the Social Services Division of the Divisional Secretariat and the government officials of the two Grama Niladhari Divisions and the residents of the area participated in this event.
